New VIP Ski service lets skiers tick all the boxes of their dream holiday wish-list
Skiers seeking a really special skiing holiday will enjoy a new service launched today by Britain’s leading private jet charter company. ‘VIP Ski’, from International Air Charter, offers skiers complete flexibility in designing their dream skiing holiday by:
- giving skiers the chance to fly to and from any airport in the world, including small local airports situated really close to their favourite skiing resort
- making it easy for skiers to tick all the boxes of their wish-list of their ideal skiing holiday, including visits to other destinations they want to include as part of their holiday
- letting them start their holiday at their front door with a limousine pick-up or any transport of their choice to their departure airport.
Wendy Courtenay, a director of International Air Charter, says: 'Skiers are usually stuck with having to go to and from airports using scheduled flights that frequently land at airports located many miles from the ski resort. Our new service means that skiers can fly from the airport nearest to their home or office, and to the airport most convenient for their resort.'
But she emphasises: 'The new service isn't just about total flexibility and convenience of airports. It’s also about total flexibility of the holiday experience. Using our service, skiers really can create an exceptional experience; the holiday of their dreams. They might, for example, want to fly to the exclusively private jet airport at Cannes and stay for a night at the beautiful Art Deco Belles Rives beach hotel, once owned by the novelist F. Scott Fitzgerald, breakfast by the sea, and then drive or be driven into the mountains to be on the quieter slopes of Valberg or Auron by mid-morning. Enjoying dinner by the beach and exploring Cannes wonderful nightlife would end a perfect day! And that's just one idea: with our new service the choice of skiing holidays is endless.'
Wendy Courtenay also points out that the new service, featuring private jet charter, avoids all the typical problems of skiing holidays that can so easily make much of the holiday a chore.
'What with baggage limitations, potentially enormous extra costs if you exceed these and the general crush of travelling to ski resorts, the journey can be exhausting whether you travel by train or plane. But using private jet charter is a completely different and delightful experience. It's also by no means as expensive as people sometimes assume it is going to be. A skiing holiday is a treat: shouldn’t it be a real treat?'
The new service makes full use of all the aircraft available to International Air Charter customers, including luxurious small-to-medium-sized jets. 'All the planes we use are furnished to first class standards. They're utterly reliable corporate jets staffed by experienced pilots and air crew for whom the concept of customer service really means something special,' says Wendy Courtenay.
And she adds: 'Our service gives skiers the chance to travel in real style, and to enjoy food and drink to their own personal specifications and provided by organisations that specialise in the highest standard of in-flight catering for private charter.'
Other advantages of the ‘VIP Ski’ service include:
- little or no limitations on baggage allowance (you take your equipment onboard with you)
- no queuing
- the privilege of checking-in just twenty minutes before the flight departs
- instant boarding
- privacy on the flight: you either fly alone or in a group of people - such as friends, relatives or colleagues - you¬ choose
- departures at convenient times of the day based around your schedule
- no anxieties about security
